GOV. RITTER, LT. GOV. O'BRIEN SCHEDULES FOR TODAY

                        Gov. Ritter will be in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., Monday evening through Wednesday morning for meetings with President-elect Obama, his transition team, the National Governors Association and the Democratic Governors Association. Gov. Ritter will be providing input on economic recovery and stimulus plans, including proposals for transportation and energy infrastructure funding to help states like Colorado create new jobs, grow their economies and address infrastructure needs.

 

9 a.m.              Lt. Gov. O'Brien will deliver opening remarks at the Colorado Public Health Summit in Golden. The two-day summit will begin to develop a state public health improvement plan required by the Colorado Public Health Reauthorization Act, signed by Gov. Bill Ritter in June. Location:  Denver West Marriott, 1717 Denver West Blvd. Golden.
 
Noon               Lt. Gov. O'Brien will deliver remarks and a present a proclamation during a rally to mark Colorado World AIDS Day. Location: West Steps, State Capitol.
