2:30 p.m. Lt. Gov. O'Brien will speak at a symposium later today titled: "How Colorado Electric and Gas Utilities and Their Customers Can Benefit from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act." She will encourage collaboration in applying for competitive stimulus grants that could help rebuild the state's power grid. The symposium is sponsored by The Colorado Public Utilities Commission, The Colorado Governor's Energy Office, The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
