GOV. RITTER'S SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW (THURSDAY, MARCH 19, 2009)

8:30 a.m.         Gov. Ritter will be delivering remarks at the Sustainable Opportunities Summit sponsored by Connected Organizations for a Responsible Economy (CORE). Location: Colorado Convention Center, Four Seasons Ballroom, Rooms 1 & 2, 700 14th St., Denver.

 

Noon               Gov. Ritter will deliver remarks at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce annual business awards luncheon. Location: Marriott City Center Hotel, 1801 California St., Denver.

 

3-3:30 p.m.     Gov. Ritter will sign five bills into law. The signings are open press and will take place in the Governor's Office. They will be conducted as brief photo-ops. The bills are:

 

                        House Bill 1004 (Apuan/Boyd), PACE Organizations Employ Physicians

                        House Bill 1023 (Gagliardi & Swalm/Boyd), Blood Donations by Minors

                        House Bill 1078 (Ryden/Hodge), Foster Parent Training

                        House Bill 1090 (Rice/Williams), Deaf Interpreters Title Unauthorized Use

                                    Senate Bill 1 (Gibbs/Scanlan), Community Wildfire Protection Plans

 

                       

4:45 p.m.        Gov. Ritter will deliver remarks during the Colorado Black Women for Political Action Day at the Capitol. Location: Old Supreme Court Chambers, State Capitol.
