GOV. RITTER TO ANNOUNCE 500 NEW JOBS AT 11 A.M. TODAY

11 a.m.                        Gov. Ritter, Economic Development Director Don Elliman and south metro-area business leaders will announce the creation of 500 new high-paying jobs. Location: Governor's Office, State Capitol.
 
3 p.m.                          Gov. Ritter will address Club 20, the Western Colorado advocacy and issues group, during the organization's annual visit to the Capitol.Location: Old Supreme Court Chambers, State Capitol.
 
4 p.m.                          Gov. Ritter will accept a $34 million check from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the State of Colorado for the state's Neighborhood Stabilization Program. The NSP is one element of the anti-foreclosure Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.Location: Governor's Office, State Capitol.
