GOV. RITTER NAMES NEW APPOINTEES TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

Gov. Bill Ritter today named numerous Coloradans to several statewide boards and commissions, including the governing boards forColorado State University and the Colorado School of Mines.

 
Colorado State University Board of Governors
 
Marguerite Salazar of Alamosa, re-appointed to a term expiring Dec. 31, 2012.
Joseph C. Zimlich of Fort Collins, appointed to a term expiring Dec. 31, 2012.
 
Zimlich is CEO of the Bohemian Companies, a group of family-owned real estate and private equity holdings. He previously served as director of finance and administration for Comlinear Corp. in Fort Collins; various controller positions with ConAgra divisions inGreeley; and as audit manager for Coopers & Lybrand in Denver. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from theUniversity of Iowa.

L. Roger Hutson of Englewood, re-appointed to a term expiring Dec. 31, 2012.
Maria Teresa Fox of Wheat Ridge, appointed to a term expiring Dec. 31, 2012.
 
Fox is an attorney with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Denver. She previously worked at the Colorado Attorney General's Office, the law firm of Holland and Hart, and as an engineer with Vista Chemical in Houston. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Colorado School of Mines in 1989 and her law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1993.
