GOV. RITTER, BIPARTISAN LAWMAKERS TO INTRODUCE FEDERAL MINERAL LEASE LEGISLATION THURSDAY

 

Gov. Ritter, Senators Gail Schwartz and Josh Penry and Representatives Bernie Buescher and David Balmer on Thursday will announce the introduction of legislation updating Colorado's Federal Mineral Lease formula.

 

The legislation calls for the establishment of a state rainy day fund and a permanent fund for communities impacted by energy development.

 

8:30 a.m.                     Gov. Ritter and Sens. Schwartz and Penry and Reps. Buescher and Balmer will announce the introduction of new Federal Mineral Lease legislation.
