GOV. RITTER SCHEDULE FOR TODAY (TUESDAY, MARCH 18)

8 a.m.                          Gov. Ritter will take part in a news conference to announce the July 19-20 Mile High Music Festival. Location: Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, off of Quebec, north of I-70.

 

9:30 to 10 a.m.           Gov. Ritter will sign House Bill 08-1017 into law during a ceremony at Skyline Vista Elementary School in the Adams 50 School District. HB 1017 establishes the Western Painted Turtle as Colorado's official state reptile. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Cherilyn Peniston and Sen. Jennifer Veiga, was inspired by students and teacher Jay Baichi. Location: Skyline Vista Elementary School, 7395 Zuni St., Denver.
