LT. GOV. O'BRIEN SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW (MARCH 18)

Noon                    Lt. Gov. Barbara O'Brien and Education Commissioner Dwight Jones will meet with the members of the House and Senate Education Committees to discuss the Colorado "Race to the Top" federal education proposal. Race to the Top is President Obama's competitive grant program that will award $4.3 billion dollars to the top tier states in education innovation. Location:  State Capitol, House Committee Room 0112.

 

1:00 p.m.         Lt. Gov. O'Brien will present a proclamation and drive a tractor around the Capitol in honor of National Agriculture Day. Location:  State Capitol, West Steps.
