GOV. RITTER NAMES NEW EL PASO COUNTY TRUSTEE

Gov. Bill Ritter today named Thomas S. Mowle of Colorado Springs as the new El Paso County public trustee. The public trustee is appointed to a four-year term to process documents pertaining to foreclosures, deeds of trust and release of deeds of trust.
 
Mowle, 42, is a recently retired U.S. Air Force major who served time in Baghdad and was a professor of political science at the Air Force Academy. He is the current chairman of the Athletics Subcommittee of the Academy District 20 Transportation Task Force and is a member of the Colorado Springs World Affairs Council.
 
He earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and a B.A. in government, both from the University of Notre Dame; a master's degree in international affairs from the University of Dayton; and a Ph.D in political science from Ohio State University.
