GOV. RITTER TO VISIT SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS AT ECONOMIC WORKSHOP THIS MORNING

9 to 10 a.m.                 Gov. Ritter will visit with small business owners at a "Surviving Tough Times" economic workshop his office is co-sponsoring with the Small Business Administration, Colorado Bankers Association and other partners. This is the second of six free statewide workshops to help small businesses get through the financial crisis by providing them with direct access to information and resources. The entire workshop goes from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Location: Auraria Campus, Tivoli Center, 900 Auraria Parkway, Denver.
 
1 p.m.                          Gov. Ritter will take part in a news conference announcing that the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization's electronic data exchange service is now up and running. CORHIO's data-exchange service will initially allow Kaiser Permanente, University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health Medical Center and The Children's Hospital to electronically exchange patients' medical records. This is one of the first operational statewide health information data exchanges in the country. Location: West Foyer, State Capitol.
