GOV. RITTER TO OPEN 'TOUGH TIMES' WORKSHOP IN PUEBLO TODAY


 
Gov. Ritter will help launch a statewide series of economic workshops today, attending the first "Surviving Tough Times" business forum at Pueblo Community College.
 
The forum – being co-hosted by Gov. Ritter, the Small Business Administration and numerous other organizations – runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Fortino Ballroom, 900 W. Orman Ave., Pueblo.
 
Gov. Ritter will attend the forum from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. He will be available to speak with reporters from 9:30 to 9:45 a.m.
 
The forums will provide small businesses with direct access to government and private-sector financial resources, information and assistance. Participants will receive Small Business Toolkits, counseling and other useful information to help them get through the downturn.
 
A second forum will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dec. 16, Auraria Campus, Tivoli Turnhalle, 900 Auraria Pkwy., Denver. Additional forums will be held in Grand Junction, Durango, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins/Greeley area. Exact dates and locations will be announced as they become available.
