GOV. RITTER AND FIRST LADY SCHEDULES FOR TODAY (THURSDAY, APRIL 17)

8:30 to 9 a.m.             Gov. Ritter will deliver remarks to a conference of the Colorado Information Management Association, Colorado Fiscal Managers Association and Colorado State Managers Association.
 
                                    Location: Cheyenne Mountain Conference Center, 3225 Broadmoor Valley Road, Colorado Springs.
 
9:45 to 10:45 a.m.      Gov. Ritter will host an education forum in Colorado Springs, focusing on the importance of higher-education to Colorado's future and his Colorado Achievement Plan for Kids reform proposal. The forum is open to the public and will include participation from higher-ed and K-12 students, teachers and administrators.
 
Location: University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, The Lodge, 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway.
 
7 to 7:15 p.m.             Gov. Ritter will deliver opening remarks to kick off the International Institute of Education's Global Awards Dinner.
 
                                    Location: Grand Hyatt Hotel, 1750 Welton St., Denver
 
7:45 p.m.                    First Lady Jeannie Ritter will deliver opening remarks at the Jefferson Center for Mental Health 50th Anniversary Gala.
