GOV. RITTER SCHEDULE FOR TODAY (THURSDAY, OCT. 9, 2008)

8:30 to 8:45 a.m.        Members of the Colorado National Guard – 2^nd Battalion, 135^th Aviation – will present Gov. Ritter with a U.S. flag that was flown in Iraq. Gov. Ritter will also visit with two Purple Heart recipients from the 2/135^th. Location: State Capitol, main floor, Rotunda area at the base of the grand stairway.

 

10:15 to 11 a.m.         Gov. Ritter will take part in a community rally as part of the Obama campaign's "Standing up for Rural Colorado Tour." Location: Centennial Park, Griffen and 4th Avenue, Canon City.

 

1 p.m.                          Gov. Ritter will take part in a roundtable discussion with several college students regarding Amendment 58.Location: Colorado State University-Pueblo, Occhiato University Center, West Ballroom.
