LT. GOV. O'BRIEN TO DISCUSS RACE TO THE TOP GUIDELINES ON FRIDAY (July 24th)

 

On Friday at 10:00 AM, U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan will release draft guidelines to assist states in preparing their Race to the Top competitive grant proposals. Lt. Gov. Barbara O'Brien will be available to the news media to discuss what the draft guidelines mean to Colorado's efforts with putting together a successful proposal.  Sec. Duncan is soliciting innovative proposals to promote education reform. Colorado will be among several states competing for a portion of the $4.35 billion in education reform funding.
