LT. GOV. O'BRIEN IN SALIDA TODAY TO FOCUS ON KIDS & THE ARTS (Friday, July 17)

10:30 a.m.        Lt. Gov. O'Brien will meet with members of the Boys and Girls Club as they are learning about camping and constellations in the Junior Ranger program through the Arkansas River Headwaters State Park. Location:  Outside the Steam Plant, 200 W. Sackett Avenue, Salida.

 

11:00 a.m.        Lt. Gov. O'Brien will host a Colorado Kids Outdoors forum with local organizations, government agencies, elected officials, educators and others about reconnecting kids to the outdoors.  Location:  Steam Plant, 200 W. Sackett Avenue, Salida.

 

12:30 p.m.        Lt. Gov. O'Brien will participate in a roundtable discussion on economic development strategies around the arts, sustainable local food production, and renewable energy. Location: Steam Plant, Salida

 

1:30 p.m.          Lt. Gov. O'Brien will be touring the art galleries along F Street, Salida.
