GOV. RITTER TO VISIT COLORADO SPRINGS AND MONUMENT ON WEDNESDAY

Gov. Bill Ritter is scheduled to attend the fourth "Surviving Tough Times" small business finance forum in Colorado Springs and the new energy-efficient Palmer Ridge High School in Monument on Wednesday.

9 to 10 a.m.                 Colorado Springs: Gov. Ritter will attend a "Surviving Tough Times" small business finance forum. These free forums provide small businesses with direct, one-on-one access to federal, state and local experts, resources and information. Businesses receive a Small Business Toolkit, counseling and other assistance. Locations: Antlers Hotel, 4. S. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs.

 

1:30 to 2:15 p.m.        Monument: Gov. Ritter will meet students of the new Palmer Ridge High School and tour the school's energy efficiency and geothermal systems installed in partnership with Mountain View Electric Association and Tri-State Generation & Transmission. Location: Palmer Ridge High School, 19255 Monument Hill Road, Monument.
