GOV. RITTER & LT. GOV. O'BRIEN SCHEDULES FOR TODAY (MONDAY, FEB. 2, 2009)


 
9:30 a.m.         Lt. Gov. O'Brien will visit Castle Rock Elementary School's outdoor natural habitat, which was built by students, staff and community members.Location: 1103 Canyon Drive, Castle Rock.
 
10 a.m.            Gov. Ritter will make his regular monthly appearance on the Mike Rosen radio show, 850 AM KOA.
 
10:45 a.m.       Lt. Gov. O'Brien will meet with Douglas County School District Superintendent Jim Christensen and his Cabinet on innovations in teacher licenses and endorsements. Location: 620 Wilcox St., Castle Rock.
 
1:30 p.m.        Gov. Ritter and Colorado's Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission will announce upcoming activities to mark the 200th birthday of the 16th president of the United States. Location: West Foyer, State Capitol.
 
7 p.m.              Gov. Ritter will speak to a University of Colorado class taught by former CU President Hank Brown. The topic: "Reforming Colorado Health Care."Location: Folsom Field, first floor, east side of stadium, Boulder.
