Gov. Bill Ritter will be signing the first piece of 2008 legislation into law at a ceremony this afternoon. The bill, HB08-1006, requires counties to allow foster children to visit with their siblings, and is sponsored by Rep. Cheri Jahn and Sen. Paula Sandoval. The bill won unanimous bipartisan support from the legislature.
