2017 Nissan X-Trail 2.0 litre diesel Copper Blaze / B-Roll

the Nissan X-Trail family has just welcomed a new member into its lineup.

Equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine that is capable of pushing out 177 PS (175 HP) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque, the SUV carries a starting price of £29,095 ($35,904) and it can be had in 2WD and 4WD and with either a six-speed manual or an Xtronic CVT automatic gearbox.

When chosen with 4WD and the CVT, its official consumption is 47.1 mpg UK (39.2 mpg US/6 lt/100 km) and emits 158 g/km of CO2, while the 4WD six-speed manual and 2WD CVT auto return 50.5 mpg UK (42.05 mpg US /5.59 lt/100 km) and emit 149 g/km and 148 g/km of CO2, respectively.

"The new flagship Nissan X-Trail is a crossover that's focused on delivering what consumers need. Offering 4WD linked to an automatic transmission for the first time, it's a significant enhancement to the already strong X-Trail range. It's also a compelling upgrade to our already successful 1.6-litre diesel model", commented Nissan Europe's Senior VP for Sales and Marketing, Guillaume Cartier.

On the outside, the Nissan X-Trail powered by the 2.0-liter diesel remains unchanged, but buyers can specify it with double stitched leather upholstery, LED interior lighting, power-opening panoramic roof, gloss black trim with metallic accents, quick-heat front seats, heated/cooled cup holders and 7-inch NissanConnect touchscreen infotainment system that includes Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming, and DAB digital radio.

Additionally, buyers can pick from a range of genuine Nissan accessories, which include a rear dog guard, chrome side mirror caps, door sill guards, external finishers for the front, rear and sides, and removable tow bar.

The 2017 X-Trail 2.0-liter diesel features a comprehensive range of advanced intelligent driving systems as well, which include the Nissan Safety Shield of technologies that consists of Intelligent Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist.
