GOV. RITTER & LT. GOV. O'BRIEN SCHEDULES FOR TOMORROW (June 12th)

 

9:30 AM                     Gov. Ritter will be delivering remarks during the "launch" event for the Colorado STEM network, a math and science non-profit organization that highlights the importance of STEM fields and strengthening STEM education in Colorado. Location: Old Supreme Court Chambers, State Capitol.

 

10:00 AM                   Lt. Gov. O'Brien will speak at the "Career Stimulus Empowerment Tour" to encourage adults to get their bachelor's degree.  The event is the kick-off of a national 40-city tour. Location:  Skyline Park, 17th & Arapahoe, Denver. 

 

4:00 PM                      Gov. Ritter will participate in a photo-op with New Belgium Brewery cyclist and Boulder resident Ryan Van Duzer. Ryan is riding his 3-speed bike from San Diego to Washington DC this summer to raise awareness about the sport of cycling. Location: State Capitol, Governor's Office.

 

6:30 PM                     Gov. Ritter will be delivering the keynote address at the biennial convention of the Colorado Council of the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees' dinner. Location: 560 Silverthorne Lane, Silverthorne, CO.
