GOV. RITTER & LT. GOV. O'BRIEN SCHEDULES FOR MONDAY (OCT. 6, 2008)


 
10 a.m.                        Gov. Ritter will deliver opening remarks at the 2008 Colorado Conservation Summit, a three-day conference addressing land conservation, water supplies, wildlife preservation, growth and development, and climate change.  Location: Keystone Conference Center, 633 Tennis Club Road, Keystone.
 
10 a.m.                        Lt. Gov. Barbara O'Brien will be taking part in a press conference about a first-of-its-kind study by the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Council on the Arts that reveals the correlation between the arts and academic performance. Location: Department of Education, Sherman & Colfax, Denver.
 
3:30 p.m.                    Lt. Gov. O'Brien will deliver remarks at the 2008 Colorado Conservation Summit regarding youth outreach and recruitment and the importance of connecting children to the outdoors. Location: Keystone Conference Center, 633 Tennis Club Road, Keystone.
 
6 to 7 p.m.                  Gov. Ritter will be attending the Old-Fashioned Political Rally, speaking on behalf of Amendment 58.
