7:35 a.m.                     Lt. Gov. Barbara O'Brien will be walking to school with children from Ellis Elementary School in celebration of  Colorado Walk to School Day.  Location: Ellis Elementary, 1651 S. Dahlia St., Denver.
 
8 a.m.                          First Lady Jeannie Ritter will be honored and delivering remarks at the Asian Pacific Development Center's Annual Fundraising Breakfast.  Location: Courtyard by Marriott Denver Cherry Creek, Top floor Banquet Room;1475 S. Colorado Blvd.
 
8:30 a.m.                     Gov. Bill Ritter will kick off a 2½-day Governor's Conference on Managing Drought and Climate Risk. 11:45 a.m.                   Gov. Ritter will join the Obama campaign's "Standing Up for Rural Colorado" tour, appearing at events in Fort Morgan and Windsor. Location: Country Steak Out, 19592 E. 8th Ave., Fort Morgan.
