GOV. RITTER SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEK

9:30 a.m.                     Gov. Ritter will take part in the grand opening of IBM's new "green" data center in Boulder – the company's most energy efficient and technologically advanced facility in North America. This $350 million, 115,000-square-foot project involved retrofitting an existing building on IBM's Boulder campus with energy efficient materials and equipment.

All Day                       Gov. Ritter will be participating in the 2008 BIO International Convention in San Diego. This annual convention, exhibit and conference features biotechnology and bioscience companies from around the world. Gov. Ritter will be attending and taking part in events with a delegation from the Colorado BioScience Association, including retention and recruiting meetings with several bio companies.
 
                                    Location: San Diego Convention Center.
 
6:30 p.m.                    Lt. Gov. O'Brien will welcome early childhood leaders from 32 states participating in a National Governor's Association Center for Best Practices conference to improve the lives of children from birth to 5 years old. Colorado is the host state and is one of just 12 states that received grants for the conference.

Noon                           Gov. Ritter will deliver a keynote luncheon speech to the Colorado Municipal League during the organization's 86th annual conference.
