GOV. RITTER TO HOLD SCHOOL SAFETY NEWS CONFERENCE MONDAY MORNING

GOV. RITTER SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY
 
Gov. Bill Ritter, Sen. John Morse (D-Colorado Springs) and Rep. Amy Stephens (R-Monument) will hold a news conference at 9 a.m. Monday to announce the introduction of Senate Bill 1, which will create the Colorado School Safety Resource Center.
 
At 11 a.m., Gov. Ritter will honor Don Walker of Florence, who last year set a new record for catching the largest lake trout in Colorado history, a 50.35-pound catch from Blue Mesa Reservoir in Gunnison County.

11 to 11:15 a.m.         Gov. Ritter will honor Don Walker of Florence, who last year set the record for catching the largest lake trout in Colorado (50.35 pounds). Walker will be accompanied by his brother-in-law, Larry Cornell of Canon City, and Matt Smiley, the two previous record-holders.
